Organ Concert - April 11, 3:30pm

On April 11 at 3:30pm Organist, Patrick Kreeger will present a performance of the complete Organ Sonatas of Felix Mendelssohn. The concert is free but a free will offering will be collected to benifit the Alzheimers Association. Click on the link to learn more about this concert.

Help for Haiti

Leverington Presbyterian Church is partnering with Physicians for Peace to help the people of Haiti. We are collecting used medical equipment including canes, walkers, crutches, prosthetics and orthotics.

You may deposit these items at Leverington Presbyterian Church either on Sundays during worship or during office hours Monday through Friday 9am to 2pm. Collection will continue until Easter Sunday, April 4.

Lenten Dinners

This week marks the beginning of the 2010 Lenten Season-a time of reflection and prayer, when we are asked to "give up" something in honor of Christ's sacrifice for us.

At LPC, we are asking our members and friends for three things, to:

Give UP...sacrifice time, a temptation or a treasure to honor God

Get IN...the Word. Read the Bible in family and individual devotions.

Go OUT...and serve others with the Heart of Christ

To support you in this effort, we are offering (not just to our members and friends, but visitors as well) a weekly Lenten Dinner. Each Sunday night through Lent (February 21 - March 21) at 6pm in Fellowship Hall (the gym), we will have a dinner and fellowship time followed by a speaker. You are invited to attend and please, bring a friend.

Maundy Thursday Worship @ 7:30pm

Please join us on Maundy Thursday, April 1 for a service of prayer and music. We will remember the sacrifice made for us by our Lord, Jesus Christ as we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. Worship will begin at 7:30pm.
